Victorian Flood Recovery Project
Project Scope
Scaada Environmental and Sustainability were engaged to assist in the evaluation of risks, damage and rehabilitation post major floods across Victoria in October 2022.
Project Outcome
Scaada teams had a major impact in the emergency response and recovery throughout Victoria assessing building damage and risks across the state. Scaada oversaw the collection of curb side waste, identifying high risk materials and goods, as well as assisting in the waste management process at the purpose-built Mt. Scobie facility. Asbestos and mould assessment were prevalent and pertinent in the early response, whilst remediate monitoring took place as the rehabilitation kicked in across the state.
