Project Scope
Scaada Environmental & Sustainability was engaged by the Victorian Government to support sites following a Biosecurity issue on numerous agricultural sites. The sites all individually highlighted unique issues, however overarching were issues around human health monitoring and safety, as well as the management of asbestos containing materials during the remediation processes were prevalent on each site. Amongst many services supplied were Asbestos Management Plans (AMPs), asbestos air monitoring, audits, project management, HSEQ services and Management Plans.
Project Outcome
Sites were able to be safely decontaminated and returned to prior operational conditions with no human impact resulting from the biohazard or the remediate works. Asbestos fibre release stayed at a safe level throughout. WorkSafe and EPA were included in all conversations to ensure legislative transparency was continually tested and met. The management process ensured a systematic and streamlined process throughout Scaada’s engagement.
