Scaada Group used modern techniques and engineered outcomes, saving our client $1.2M. Our Client was faced with a $1.5M categorised soil problem on an active construction site. The budget had not included any allowance for this type of issue and schedule was being affected.
Due to the nature of the categorisation problem, Scaada Environmental Division commenced a series of strategies including re-sampling, understanding historical site work and identifying existing issues in nearby locations. The Scaada team located favorable historical data that enhanced our understanding without prejudice.
Furthermore an engineered process around neutralising the soil was conducted using an available on-site area where re-testing occurred. Using available skills and knowledge, 20,000m3 of land was re-categorised to EPA fill, saving the client $1.2M in the process.
